This policy explains what information patchvsscams.com (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit, and how it is used. We collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to reply.
- Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we store the name, email address and comment you submit, plus your IP address to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies at the moment. If you leave a comment, your browser may store a cookie that remembers your name and email for next time. If we add analytics, advertising or newsletter tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Embedded YouTube videos
Our pages include videos hosted on YouTube. When you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may collect information and set cookies under its own policy: Google Privacy Policy.
How we use and share information
We use the information above only to run and secure the website and to reply to you. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us (such as our web host), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host. Emails and comments are kept for as long as needed to respond or to keep the discussion on the page, unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, email hello@patchvsscams.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
